There are serious indications that Stanley Nwabali may not be part of the 2025 AFCON in Morocco. This is because of the hand and ankle injuries he sustained during the FIFA World Cup  playoffs between Nigeria and DR Congo.

According to his Club’s website, Nwabali has been injured for a while, and the statement went further to express doubts if he will be fit before the tournament begins.

It is important to know that Nwabali has been the Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper since the 2023 AFCON, however, his high temperament has been a major source of concern to a lot of Super Eagles fans.
