It has been confirmed that Super Eagles and Udinese goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye will be available for the national team for the upcoming African Cup Of Nations (AFCON) to held in Morocco.

According to a statement by the club, Maduka alongside other African players billed to take part in the AFCON will be allowed to leave the club for the tournament after their match against Napoli.

This is a good news considering that Okoye has been in fine form for his club of late. Also, if he is able to bring his club form to the national team then there will be a battle for the number 1 shirt between him and Stanley Nwabali.
