The Super Falcons camp will be opened in Abuja on the 20th day of February. This is to enable the smooth takeoff of preparations for the WAFCON 2026 tournament as well as the WAFU-B tournament to be hosted in Ivory Coast between the 27th of February to the 7th of March.

The team will further be engaged in friendlies to put the team in great shape ahead of the WAFCON that may likely be staged in Morocco. The Super Falcons are grouped with Egypt, Malawi and Zambia.

The 2026 WAFCON tournament will be a qualifier for the 2027 FIFA Women World Cup, as the 4 semi finalists will automatically qualify for the tournament.
