The Nigerian Sports Commission (NSC) has come out to address the rumors circulating round the media space that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is owing the national team head coach- Eric Chelle- 3 months salary.

The chairman of the NSC, Alhaji Umaro Dikko, denied the reports during the an early morning show on Arise Tv. He even went further to state that the NSC as an institution has been paying the salaries of the coach and that of his crew, and so, the rumors are not true.

According to him, the NSC took over that part of the contract in a bid to support the NFF despite not being a party to the contract.

This has gone a long way in calming the nerves of football fans across the country.
