The Nigerian Super Falcons are set to go on a four nation invitational tournament in Ivory Coast. This was made public by the Nigerian Football Federation’s communication director, Ruth David.

According to the official statement, the Super Falcons will take part in the tournament so as to prepare for the Women African Cup Of Nations (WAFCON) that will start on the 17th of March 2026.

The coach of the national team, Justin Madugu has already submitted his list for the tourney to the NFF’s technical committee ahead of the 26th February kickoff date.

It is on record that the Super Falcons are the 10 time champions of the WAFCON and are bidding to win it the 11th time. The host for this year’s tournament is Morocco who have hosted the last two editions and have lost in both finals to both South Africa and Nigeria respectively.
