The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have opened negotiations with the Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle. According to the news making the rounds, the French-Mali is in the final year of his 2 years contract.

Going by the dominant and excellent display of the Super Eagles, the NFF have deemed it wise to offer him a better contract than the he is currently on. It is on record the coach is on a $50,000 salary a month contract.

However, there have been flurry of reports about litany of contract offers being tabled before him by a lot of African teams who were impressed by the style of football the Super Eagles play.

Tunisia are said to be the top contender for his signature and are said to be willing to pay more than what the NFF are currently paying him. Also, the lure of coach in the World Cup is another thing that may entice Eric Chelle.
